Eid-El-Fitr: Bayewu Felicitates With Muslims, Urges Prayer Against COVID-19

A former senatorial aspirant for Lagos West, Kamal Bayewu has implored Muslims to use the Eid-el-fitr celebration to seek the face of Allah and pray for the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.

While also congratulating Nigerians on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, Bayewu, former Executive Chairman of Ajeromi- Ifelodun Local Government also enjoined Muslims to sustain the ideals of the month of Ramadan beyond the Ramadan period.

Bayewu who expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for their efforts so far in curtailing the spread of the pandemic also admonished Nigerians, irrespective of their religious affiliation to pray for the healing of the land.

“No matter our religious affiliation, let us also maximise the period in seeking the face of God to heal our nation from the scourge of COVID-19 pandemic so that we can gather together as a family United in worship to our creator which has been impossible since the outbreak of the pandemic” he said.
