Super Eagles Defender, Troost-Ekong Signs Contract Extension at Udinese


Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has reacted after signing a new four years contract until 2023 with the Serie A outfit Udinese.

The 26-year-old Nigeria international joined Italian Serie A club on 17 August 2018 from Turkish side Bursaspor where he has gone and featured 45 times for the White and Blacks and two goals and contributing to the third-place reached for Gernot Rohr men in the Africa Cup of Nations last summer.

Troost-Ekong took to his official social media with joy and happiness after penning a contract extension Udinese after Inter Milan transfer target Rodrigo de Paul signed a new contract also.

Troost-Ekong started his career with Tottenham Hotspurs before moving to Fulham and later played for Groningen, Dordrecht (loan), Gent, Haugesund (loan), Bursaspor and Udinese.

The Netherlands-born hope to featured in Udinese Serie A clash against SPAL on Sunday before flying to Nigeria for the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers encounter with Benin Republic and Sierra Leone.
