Chelsea plan for transfer ban, aim to tie down two stars

Chelsea is planning for life during the transfer ban as they aim to tie down two of their main players at the Stamford Bridge by offering the Brazilians stars improved deals.

Chelsea hierarchy is willing to persuade Willian and David Luiz to extend their stay at the Stamford Bridge after the club realised that they would be unable to carry out any signing in the coming summer, though they are hoping to have the two-year transfer ban overturned on appeal.

Willian’s contract will expire at the end of the season, but the Brazilian attacker is willing to extend his stay at the club.

Willian said: “I have one year left, but of course I want to play for this club.

“This club is very special to me. I won titles here, I have the affection from the fans and from the people that work in the club.

“I feel comfortable to stay. I am happy when I play well and score goals. I can give a different light.”

Chelsea might lose Eden Hazard to Real Madrid with the move likely to happen during the summer transfer window.

The Blues have already signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund before being hit by the transfer ban.

The USA forward is seen as a potential replacement for Hazard who is tipped to join Real Madrid next summer.

Luiz is expected to remain at the Stamford Bridge for the next two-three season with the current deal that is set to be signed by the Brazilian defender.
