SACKED: Another Premier League coach shown the exit door

Another Premier League coach has been shown exit door following a poor start to the season.

Mark Hughes has been confirmed sacked as Southampton manager after the 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Saturday.

Hughes signed a three-year deal in the summer but he won just one game in 1 league games this season which has propelled The Saints to reconsider their decision.

“Southampton Football Club can today confirm it has parted company with first-team manager Mark Hughes,” confirmed a club statement.

“Assistant first team manager Mark Bowen and assistant first team coach Eddie Niedzwiecki have also left the club.

“We would like to express our thanks to Mark and his staff for all of their efforts during their time at St Mary’s.

“The search for a new manager to take the club forward is already underway.

“First team assistant coach Kelvin Davis will lead the team for Wednesday’s Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.”

Slaviša Jokanović was previously sacked as Fulham coach before hiring Claudio Ranieri as a new manager.
