NASS invasion: DSS committed coup against Nigeria democracy – Onuesoke

FORMER Delta State Governorship aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Sunny Onuesoke, Tuesday, described the blockade of the National Assembly premises by masked men of the Department of Security Service, DSS as a coup against democracy in Nigeria.

Onuesoke in a statement made available to Newsmen, called “for the arrest and trial of all those involved in a special tribunal or constituted court of jurisdiction, adding that “If the DSS boss is arrested he will confess other accomplices in the failed coup at the National Assembly.

He said the sack of the Director General of DSS, Lawal Musa Daura was not enough, insisting that he should be arrested and prosecuted.

Onuesoke said: “You will recall that my friend Timi Frank made the coup that happened today open to the public since yesterday about an attempt by DSS, Oshiomhole, Akpabio, Amaechi etc planning to invade the NASS today (yesterday).

“So it was a coup and all those involved should be arrested immediately. For DSS officers to put on mask shows it was a coup that failed. In the military it is believed that a masked police or security personnel is going on a mission to kill or give witness against a harden criminal.

“Wearing of mask by security personnel in a parliamentary building globally is a crime against the immunity of NASS. It is clear to Nigerians and the world in general that APC has failed our country”.
