‘I Have A Doctorate Degree’: Stella Oduah’s Official CV Full Of Lies (LOOK)

Embattled minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah who is presently squandering funds, holidaying in Brazil has been fingered in a new doctorate degree scandal.

This was revealed today when the Curriculum Vitae she submitted to the senate before her ministerial clearing in 2011 emerged on the internet.

From what was gleaned in the CV, Oduah seems to have doctored most of the information contained therein. For example, she claimed to have obtained a honorary doctorate degree in a non-existent Universitty in the United State.

The fresh allegation is surfacing after it was revealed that she never obtained a master’s degree, as Saint Paul College where she claimed to have received such never offered a post-graduate degree in its 125 years of existence.

A mail sent to Mr. Mcfarland, the College’s Director of Media and Publicity by The Paradigm to confirm if she ever obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the College has not been replied as at the time of filling this report.

During her senate clearing for her ministerial appointment, the minister lied on oath to the Nigerian Senate, claiming another American ‘university’, Pacific Christian University awarded her an honorary doctorate degree in 1998.

Mrs. Oduah made the claim in a 7-page resume she distributed to Nigeria’s 109 senators during her confirmation hearing on July 2, 2011.

On page four of the document, the minister claimed the university, which she said was based in Glendale, awarded her an honorary doctorate in Business Administration.

However, investigations has revealed no university called Pacific Christian University exists in the United States.

The U.S. Department of Education, through its National Centre for Education Statistics, keeps an up-to-date database of all public libraries and educational institutions in the country – public, private  and colleges.

According to the database, there are six colleges (universities) in Glendale,  a city of 191,719 inhabitants in Los Angeles County, in the state of California.

The colleges are American Medical Sciences Centre, Brand College, Glendale Career College, Glendale Community and North-West College.

There is no such university known as Christian Pacific College as claimed by the minister.

Mrs. Oduah had carefully padded her qualifications by claiming to have earned a “Masters Degree in the United States” after completing her Bachelors.  In the edited official profile on the Aviation ministry’s website, Mrs. Oduah now claims she “received her Bachelors and Masters Degree (in Accounting and Business Administration respectively) in the United States.”
