The unofficial results from Anambra state governorship election held yesterday shows that the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) is winning in 16 of the 21 local government in Anambra state tallied so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials in the state.

Report says INEC is holding off on full announcement of collated results until elections are concluded in 65 polling units in Obosi, Idemili North local government area by midday today.

The All  Progressive Congress (APC) party is trailing behind APGA as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is expected to come third place while Labour Party (LP) will likely come fourth.

INEC is expected to officially announce  the results later today in Awka the state capital where the agency would likely declare APGA candidate, Willie Obiano as “Governor -Elect” of Anambra State.

In a simple inquiry by The Paradigm to get the reaction of Willie Obiano Campaign Organisation to the result tallied so far by INEC, the Head of Media, Mr. James Eze said “at this moment in time, I can only say that APGA has established a strong lead ahead of other parties. Let’s wait for INEC for the final results.”
