The gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Party for next weekend’s gubernatorial election for Anambra State, Senator Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige has condoled the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Onitsha Catholic Archdiocese Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Okeke over this most avoidable tragedy that led to the death of some worshipers at the Adoration Ground at Uke in the early hours of Saturday, the 2nd of November, 2013.

The Senator said that the incident was most unfortunate, especially when viewed from the standpoint that the innocent victims of this tragedy left their homes hale and hearty to go and get spiritual upliftment from the Lord only for them to meet their untimely death.

Meanwhile the Distinguished Senator who is also a knight of St. John was warmly received by anxious relations of the victims and other patients when he visited the injured at the various hospitals Saturday morning where they are receiving treatment and pledged to pay their hospital bills.
